He decided to combine all his favorite things as much as possible so he schedules his comedy tour around his sporting events. If he’s in your city then you’ll probably see a good game happening in town that weekend. He has gained a following online from stand up clips as well as videos from NFL tailgates with his series called Mike’d Up. Born and raised in Cincinnati\, he started stand up comedy in Phoenix and then moved to Los Angeles to continue to pursue his career. He dropped his first full stand up special\, Live on New Year’s Eve\, on his YouTube page. He also has two specials on Don’t Tell Comedy\, has been featured on Chocolate Sundaes\, Netflix Is A Joke Radio\, and he’s covered the NFL and other sports for NBC Sports and Bally’s Sports. He’s covered NASCAR and Professional Bull Riding for Fox. He created the Road Warrior Tour doing shows along with the Cincinnati Bengals road schedule. He didn’t miss a Thursday open mic after that for about a year. Within 2 years Cliff won Port City’s Top Comic\, Comedy Central’s UpNext Regionals\, Comedy Zone’s Almost Famous and landed himself on Sirius XM. In the years that followed\, Cash racked up an impressive list of comedy credits and life scars. The highs and lows ranged from a divorce to a number one comedy album\, from the death of his father to a Dry Bar Comedy special. \nDespite accolades like being a finalist for Standup NBC\, having two albums reach number one\, being on Laughs TV\, Rooftop Comedy and more\, Cliff was toiling away in the shadows of obscurity reluctant to take the traditional path of moving to New York or Los Angeles. Cash focused instead on honing his craft and building connections nationwide performing in nearly every state in the lower 48\, touring for months at a time\, living in a station wagon\, camping\, hiking and exploring between gigs. She also co-created and co-starred on the Peacock series Bust Down\, with Langston Kerman\, Jak Knight\, and Chris Redd. She is a two-time Emmy nominee and WGA award nominee for her writing on Saturday Night Live. Sam’s first HBO special\, Sam Jay: Salute Me Or Shoot Me\, is now available to stream. Sam’s solo show We The People\, just wrapped a hugely successful run at Edinburgh Fringe Fest in which the show was nominated for Best Comedy Show\, and won The Uprise Award\, which recognizes shows that dare to provoke\, disrupt and reframe discussions. \nSam was a standout on the dais at Netflix’s The Roast of Tom Brady. In 2018\, she wrote for The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards and the MTV Movie & TV Awards\, and in 2020 she wrote for the BET Awards. Sam was recently featured both on and off camera as the “Voice of God” announcer at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards on NBC. In 2023\, Sam recorded a set as part of Netflix’s Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration\, along with Margaret Cho\, Sandra Bernhard\, Billy Eichner\, and Eddie Izzard—now streaming on Netflix. Sam was named as one of Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch in 2018\, and a Comedy Central Comic to Watch in 2015\, and in 2017 was selected for Just For Laughs: New Faces Showcase. She has performed on Netflix’s The Comedy Lineup\, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!; and released her Comedy Central Presents half hour to rave reviews. Sam has performed internationally at comedy clubs and festivals including the Vodafone Dublin Comedy Festival\, Bumbershoot Festival\, 208 Comedy Festival\, New York Comedy Festival\, Portland’s Bridgetown Festival\, The Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival\, Boston’s Women In Comedy Festival\, among others.
