RICKY VELEZ is a stand-up comic, writer, and actor based in New York. Touring frequently with John Mulaney, Pete Davidson, Jon Stewart, and Aziz Ansari, and recurring as himself on THE DAILY SHOW with Jon Stewart, you can find his one hour – special HERE’S EVERYTHING on HBO, which Judd Apatow and Pete Davidson produced. On the acting side, Ricky can be seen in the movies GOOD BURGER 2, THE KING OF STATEN ISLAND, THE LISTENER, I LOVE MY DAD, and MY EX-FRIENDS WEDDING. Ricky has appeared in television series such as MASTER OF NONE, BUPKIS, and SINGLE DRUNK FEMALE. Currently developing various scripted and unscripted projects, Ricky is a credited writer on features such as THE KING OF STATEN ISLAND and THE BUBBLE and served as Consulting Producer on BUPKIS for Peacock in addition to being a Correspondent on Comedy Central’s THE NIGHTLY SHOW WITH LARRY WILMORE. Highlighted on Variety’s “10 Comedians to Watch”, Ricky was trained at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts where he received the Special Recognition Diploma in Drama.
